We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team at Picnic. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive category strategy that drives business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, analyzing market trends and customer insights to inform category decisions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive category initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a category strategy that aligns with business objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive category growth and profitability
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform category decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive category initiatives
- Manage category budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning
- Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities to drive category growth
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, marketing, supply chain)
- 1-4 years of experience in a commercial or analytical role
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyze data to inform business decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Fluent in Dutch and English
