Thermo Fisher Scientific is a world-wide leader in serving science. The company is looking for a Module System Architect to work in the Analytical Instruments Group, specifically in the Material and Structural Analysis Division.
Department:
The Module System Architecture group is responsible for defining the architecture and design of modules for Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEM). This group is part of the TEM Solutions Research & Development organization, which aims to develop innovative technologies and software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Product System Architect to translate market requirements into concept definitions, design specifications, and module architecture.
- Take ownership of optimizing module-level performance during the initial phase of product development.
- Ensure module performance specifications meet predefined requirements during validation.
- Develop and maintain camera/detector module roadmaps.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop new modules and extend the product portfolio in transmission electron microscopy.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with strong conceptual thinking skills and experience in software- and hardware-focused design activities. A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field is required.
Personal:
