Project Lead Offshore Wind Farm

As a Project Lead Offshore Wind Farm, you will play a crucial role in managing the project scope of the Offshore Wind Farm Developer(s) on a day-to-day basis and delivering the required products to enable the windfarm connection towards the 2GW HVDC Grid Connection System.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the project scope on a day-to-day basis and deliver the required products, with a focus on Safety, Health, Environment (SHE), Time, Quality, and Budget.
  • Responsible for the sub-projects and work packages by organizing the project team, including technical Engineering, Stakeholders, PMO roles, and internal department resources.
  • Ensure realization of the OWF connection project in accordance with the applicable agreements (Connection and Realization Agreement), compliance with regulatory guidelines, laws, and organization regulations in the project.
  • Direct the construction sites with a focus on SHE, assuring quality, site supervision, and commissioning.
  • Provide project documentation, including Quality and risk registers, project reporting, and hand-over data and documentation.
  • Align with and manage internal stakeholders regarding time, scope, data, and documentation, and the Operational Readiness of the OWF connection.

Requirements
  • Bachelor degree or higher and affinity with electrical/mechanical engineering.
  • Wide experience in managing contracts.
  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and become acquainted with a range of topics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to organize and schedule activities well.
  • Show initiative, be persuasive, sensitive to stakeholders, and capable of balanced judgment (environmental awareness).
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, intrinsically motivated, a team-player, taking responsibility and ownership (committed); no 'nine to five mentality.'
  • Able to functionally manage, motivate, and give direction to a team of professionals, and be a team player yourself.
  • Preferable IPMA C certified or open to follow a certification trajectory.
  • Experience in FIDIC and System Engineering principles is an advantage.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Willingness to travel.
