The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, automotive, or electrical engineering, with experience in OBD regulation and OBD systems. You will be working with complex systems, analyzing data, and developing solutions for technical problems.
As a Diagnostic Calibration Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, develop your skills, and contribute to the growth of our company.
Key responsibilities include:
- Calibration engineer tasks across various fields of heavy duty diesel diagnostic calibration
- Design, plan, and oversee testing on engine testcells and vehicles
- Analyze data collected by yourself or others, draw conclusions, and propose calibration resolutions
- Work according to the Automotive SPICE standard
- Translate OBD regulations to ensure compliance with OBD regulation and DAF product specification book
Requirements
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience with OBD regulation and OBD systems
- Data analysis skills
- Ability to work with complex systems and abstract issues
- Structured working approach and team collaboration
- Pro-active attitude and ability to work with different people and organizations
- Good MS-Office and Matlab skills
- Good English skills and willingness to learn Dutch
