Job Description

Yacht is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Calibration Engineer to join their team in Eindhoven. As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for resolving urgent topics and analyzing data to develop effective calibration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy across various fields of heavy duty diesel diagnostic calibration, including misfire, air manager, aftertreatment scantool, and fault manager.
  • Design, plan, and oversee testing on engine testcells and vehicles.
  • Analyze data collected by yourself or others, draw conclusions, and propose calibration resolutions.
  • Work with complete or incomplete datasets, combining information from different sources to develop the best solution for our customers while maintaining legal compliance.
  • Translate OBD regulations to ensure DAF engine development is compliant with OBD regulation and DAF product specification book.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering with an interest in Automotive or Vehicle Engineering.
  • Experience with and knowledge of OBD regulation and OBD systems.
  • Data analysis is second nature to you.
  • Ability to quickly become acquainted with complex and abstract issues.
  • Structured working approach combined with a pleasure to work in teams.
  • Proactive attitude and the ability to work with many different people and organizations.
  • Good MS-Office and Matlab skills are mandatory.
  • Good English skills are mandatory, and a willingness to learn Dutch is required.
