The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled intern or graduate student to join our team and contribute to our research and development efforts in the field of naval ship survivability. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with experienced professionals, and develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis on naval ship survivability and vulnerability
  • Develop and implement new methods and tools for predicting and mitigating the effects of attacks on naval vessels
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop new naval vessels and systems
  • Communicate research findings and results to stakeholders and colleagues
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Naval Architecture
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with simulation tools and programming languages (e.g. Ansys, Femap, LS-Dyna, Python, MATLAB)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
