Financial Account Manager and Corporate Services Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Account Manager to join our team at Lexius Search in Amsterdam.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in financial accounting and management, with a proven track record of effectively leading teams and managing client relationships.

Job Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Account Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio, overseeing financial activities, and ensuring the timely completion of administrative tasks. This includes:

  • Managing client relationships and serving as the primary point of contact for clients, accountants, and tax advisors;
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly reports, including analysis of variances, cash flows, and working capital reports;
  • Closing accounts, including reviewing accounts prepared by property managers;
  • Preparing VAT and CIT filings in collaboration with external advisers;
  • Reviewing statutory annual financial statements (Dutch GAAP/IFRS);
  • Managing local audit processes and resolving audit queries;
  • Managing bank accounts and executing client payments;
  • Maintaining organized planning of work to ensure timely and accurate filing of administrative records;
  • Mentoring and training junior and mid-level financial account managers;
  • Participating in board meetings and presenting annual accounts;
  • Performing miscellaneous finance and administrative tasks as required;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, accounting, or an equivalent;
  • At least five years of relevant work experience in financial accounting and management;
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (Dutch GAAP/ IFRS);
  • Fluent English language skills (oral and written);
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • A self-motivated approach to decision-making and problem-solving;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Demonstrable experience with accounting software;
