About This Role

AIKO Energy seeks a highly skilled Tax Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for ensuring timely compliance with VAT regulations across multiple countries.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in tax and accounting processes to optimize our tax declaration timetables and drive business growth. If you have a strong process mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for tax compliance, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely completion of VAT compliance works
  • Reconsolidation of tax and accounting data, identification of discrepancies, and resolution of gaps
  • Preparation of tax declaration timetables by country
  • Support and assistance with accounting closing, tax auditing, and financial auditing
  • Basic tax training to stakeholders
  • Digitalization of tax declaration work
  • Identification of root causes of upper-stream process issues and recommendation of improvement plans to process owners
  • Management of indirect tax processes and improvement of process efficiency
  • Tax document filing and management
  • Tax compliance risk control

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • More than 3 years of related work experience
  • Fluent English and Chinese (speaking and writing)
  • Strong process mindset and sense of responsibility, attention to details and deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills
