The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accountant to join our team at Spencer Stuart. This individual will be responsible for working closely with accounting management and the corporate accounting team to assist with all aspects of financial transactions and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS 16.
  • Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries, including those related to leases and fixed asset accounting.
  • Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely completion of financial reports.
  • Work with the corporate accounting team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Corporate Accounting Manager - Amsterdam and Regional Controllers.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a multi-national environment.
  • Expertise in IFRS and experience with lease management systems, such as FinQuery.
  • An undergraduate degree in Accounting and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
