This role presents an excellent opportunity for a coffee enthusiast to evolve alongside a dynamic team, bringing unique perspectives that make this hotel a special place. As a Barista at De Plesman, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, engaging with guests to provide personalized recommendations, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, managing stock levels, and staying updated on coffee trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, cocktails, and other beverages;
  • Guest Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service, making recommendations based on guest preferences;
  • Workspace Maintenance: Ensure a clean, organized, and well-maintained barista station and equipment;
  • Inventory Management: Effectively manage stock levels for coffee, tea, and related supplies;
  • Coffee Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on coffee trends, contribute ideas for new beverage offerings, and develop expertise in preparation techniques and equipment.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Barista in a fast-paced environment;
  • Passion for Coffee: A genuine passion for coffee, with knowledge of preparation techniques and equipment;
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude;
  • Efficiency and Quality: Ability to work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality;
