Job Description

The Power Electronics and Electromagnetic Compatibility Group at the University of Twente has a vacancy for a PhD researcher in the field of closed-loop testing for faster and better electromagnetic evaluation of complex high-tech systems.

Research Objectives

The main objective of this research is to develop a new standard for testing large systems in a controlled environment, using the latest fast EM sensor systems and comparing their performance with antennas. The researcher will also investigate different algorithms for EM field strength data and evaluate the minimal number of sensors required for accurate testing.

Your Profile

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic researcher with a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have a background in physical electronics, analytical mathematics, and simulation, and be proficient in English.

Our Offer

As a PhD researcher at the University of Twente, you will be appointed on a full-time position for four years, with a qualifier in the first year. The university offers a dynamic ecosystem with enthusiastic colleagues, a salary ranging from €2,770 to €3,539 per month, and excellent benefits including a holiday allowance and a solid pension scheme.
