Order Desk Assistant

Napoleon, a leading manufacturer of quality wood and gas fireplaces, gourmet gas and charcoal grills, and outdoor living products, is seeking a highly skilled Order Desk Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the customer service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to dealers from initial contact to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
As an Order Desk Assistant, you will:
- Process and support orders and inquiries received via phone, email, and portals.
- Respond to dealer inquiries regarding invoices, products, pricing, availability, shipping, and more, in a professional and timely manner.
- Anticipate dealer needs and provide them with the best possible delivery estimates using available tools.
- Address and resolve order-related complaints through the ticket system, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department or team lead when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, system updates, and customer service techniques by participating in training sessions and team meetings.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in German.
- Knowledge of the Dutch or English language is an advantage.
- Familiarity with customer service in general.
- Proficiency in MS Office with advanced experience of MS Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to identify problems, visualize, and implement best solutions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
