System Owner HVAC Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled System Owner to lead our HVAC Systems Platform team at Damen Shipyards. As a key member of our Technology Management department, you will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for our HVAC systems, ensuring they meet the business objectives and market opportunities.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in a relevant field, such as Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. They will also have experience in project management, systems engineering, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
As a leader, you will be responsible for setting clear goals and priorities for the development, implementation, and support of our HVAC systems. You will also ensure that technology is developed according to systems engineering principles and Verification and Validation models.

Key Responsibilities- Define the vision and strategy for our HVAC systems
- Lead the HVAC Systems Platform team
- Ensure technology is developed according to systems engineering principles
- Collaborate with internal and external partners
- Manage the development and standardization of modular and scalable system families
- Academic level with a bachelor and/or master's degree in a technical direction
- Demonstratable knowledge on this specific technical domain in a relevant industry
- Experience with project management, systems engineering, and collaboration with internal and external partners
- Strong leadership skills and ability to coach, guide, and influence others
