Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with product teams, clusters, and other departments to provide technical leadership and foster best practices.
- Create, maintain, and promote Paved Roads for our back-end and front-end programming languages.
- Act as a senior engineer to lead and drive end-to-end technical software architectures in complex programs/initiatives within Supply Chain/Stores.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to fellow engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies applicable to our context, collaborating with Architects to define and improve technology strategies and architectures.
- Work closely with development, operations, and product teams to understand challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
- Create comprehensive documentation for software engineering processes, configurations, and best practices to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure maintainability.
- Support teams with software engineering expertise in case of problems, troubleshooting and resolving development issues, and collaborating with relevant teams to implement corrective measures.
- Develop prototypes and conduct thorough testing of solutions to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Expert proficiency in programming languages, with expertise in languages such as JavaScript, React, and Kotlin.
- Extensive experience with microservices architecture, domain-driven and event-driven design principles, and implementing complex integration solutions.
- Deep understanding of software coding quality, secure coding practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD tooling.
- Proven experience in containerization, Kubernetes, and public cloud technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of API design, RESTful services, and event streaming within the context of modern software architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- An annual salary that can lead up to 122K, including holiday allowance and a flexible bonus.
- A minimum of 20 days paid vacation, optionally 12.5 days extra.
