About the Role
At APP ArianeGroup, we are the leading manufacturer of ignition systems for European space rockets. Our state-of-the-art facility is where we develop, produce, and test rocket igniters and parachute mortars for space applications and various gas generators for terrestrial applications.
We are looking for a skilled Project Manager to take responsibility for the complete life cycle of our rocket ignition systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our internal project team, ensuring seamless collaboration and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate project teams to ensure timely and within-budget completion of projects.
- Built and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure that contracted tasks are carried out according to schedule and to the stated requirements.
- Prepare and negotiate quotes with customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Requirements
For this role, we are looking for a candidate with a technical background in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or Applied Physics. Relevant project management experience, preferably within similar industries such as aerospace, defense, or high-tech, is also required. A project management certification such as IPMA / PMI would be a strong added value. Excellent communication skills in English are essential.
