Commercial Operations Specialist (1.0 FTE)
Vroon is a family-owned enterprise established in 1890 in the Netherlands, with a rich history in maritime operations. Our subsidiary, Iver Ships, has been managing a fleet of product and high-temperature tankers since the early 1990s. Operating globally, we uphold a high-quality Document of Compliance (DOC) and adhere to all international regulations. Our focus is on the commercial, operational, and technical management of the seaborne transportation of asphalt/bitumen, liquid pitch cargoes, clean and dirty products, and easy chemicals (IMO-2). Our vessels primarily serve major oil companies and large trading houses, ensuring the utmost safety for cargoes and personnel both onshore and onboard.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be tasked with:
Efficiently executing and overseeing assigned commercial agreements, time and voyage charters to achieve optimal financial outcomes; Facilitating effective communication among various stakeholders (vessels, clients, technical managers, port agents, etc.) involved in the execution of commercial agreements; Maintaining comprehensive contract administration for all assigned vessels; Providing insightful reports and analyses to enhance the effectiveness of commercial agreements; Assisting in arranging bunker stems and appointing port agents; Anticipating and understanding customer needs for future requirements.You will report directly to the Managing Director.
