Job Summary

ASML is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineering intern to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Applied Physics, with a specialization in fluid dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform an extensive literature review of available turbulence models and implement a subset of models for ASML flow problems.
  • Support work with proper databasing and documentation, and work with open source and/or commercial simulation software packages available at ASML.
  • Perform simulation data analysis and provide quantitative data to compare to experiments.

Requirements

  • Current master's student in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Applied Physics.
  • Specialization in fluid dynamics.
  • Proficiency in tooling like CFD (STARCCM+, COMSOL, OPENFOAM, BASILISK, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
