About the Role

ASML is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical Development sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and applying mechanical designs to meet system specifications and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and specify mechanical modules and functionality to achieve required performance
  • Evaluate and implement improvement proposals to enhance design and functionality
  • Apply state-of-the-art design methods and construction principles to ensure adequate designs
  • Contribute to the specification of tests and design and realization of test equipment
  • Ensure prototypes are built and tests are carried out
  • Deliver technical product documentation for volume production
Requirements
  • Technical University Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering
  • 4-8 years of experience in a development and engineering organization with realization of supporting structures and service mechanisms
  • Knowledge of machine directives and manufacturability of mechanical parts
  • Excellent knowledge of designing on stiffness, temperature, cost, etc.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, construction principles, and geometric dimensioning and tolerance
  • Experience with FEM and analytic tools, such as NX structure, ANSYS, Matlab, Mathcad
