Job Description

As a production employee at Nedal Aluminium, you will be responsible for producing aluminium profiles and light poles. Initially, you will assist experienced operators, learning step-by-step how to operate and inspect the machines in the production line. This will take place in one of two departments:

  • Extrusion Department: Here, you will learn how to press, process, and package profiles. You will operate various machines to stretch and cut profiles to size.
  • Lima Department: You will learn how to produce light poles, using techniques such as elongation, conical forcing, alignment, cutting, turning, milling, grinding, and bending aluminium.

Nedal performs all these tasks according to high-quality standards. You will work with processing machines such as alignment machines, presses, and saws, and learn to thoroughly check for dimensions, deviations, and damage.

Job Requirements

You are willing to work in a three-shift system, available for day, evening, and night shifts. You are in good physical shape, but the use of aids makes the work less physically demanding.

If you can check off the following points, it's certainly a nice bonus:

  • Completed technical education at least at LBO level (preferably in Metal, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive Technology);
  • Valid forklift and/or reach truck certificate;
  • VCA certification;
  • Crane certification (overhead cranes);
  • VAPRO.

Salary and Benefits

As a production employee at Nedal Aluminium in Utrecht, you will earn a minimum of €2942 gross per month, including a shift allowance of 16%. This salary depends on your age and experience. You will be working in a close-knit team where collaboration and consultation are central. As a production employee, you will work full-time and have the opportunity to develop into an operator.
