The Construction & Operations Department at Vestas oversees all wind farm projects from start to completion. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all construction activities to monitor compliance with safety and quality regulations. You will coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, meet contractual conditions of performance by reviewing the work progress daily, and plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging challenges
  • Analyse, control, and mitigate risks
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs

Qualifications

  • Formal qualification in the field of Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Proven working experience in the construction industry
  • Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
  • Understanding of all facets of the construction process
  • Knowledge in process safety standards and local legislation
  • Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written

Primary Location: Any NCE based site. Travel - The position includes up to days travel.
