Job Description

At CareerScout, we are seeking a highly skilled VAT Compliance Manager to join our team. As a VAT Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for guiding our compliance practice and ensuring that clients comply with all VAT-related reporting obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex VAT returns, and advising clients on their administration and the correct way of invoicing.

You will deal with complex international transactions and your clients do business in both the Netherlands and the EU and beyond.

You will join a team of five or six employees, where you will work closely with your manager.

Requirements:

A completed higher professional education in an economic direction

3 to 5 years of work experience

Knowledge of local VAT advice and filing foreign returns

Knowledge of Dutch VAT laws

Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written

You are customer-oriented and dedicated

Benefits:

€3,500 - €5,000 gross per month (depending on knowledge and experience)

32-to-40-hour work week

25 vacation days

Training opportunities and courses in consultation

In the long term you can participate in the pension program

Telephone, laptop, mileage allowance and business card

Possibility to work from home
