VAT Compliance Manager – Roles in Arnhem and Eindhoven

Our client provides high-quality legal advice in Dutch corporate income tax, dividend tax and income tax. The tax consultancy focuses primarily on internationally operating companies and cross-border projects. The Role

  • You are responsible for guiding our compliance practice. You have completed a higher professional education in an economic direction and experience with doing (complex) VAT and OSS returns. Experience with foreign VAT returns is a plus.
  • Your goal is to ensure that clients comply with all VAT-related reporting obligations, so that the client can focus on their business. You consider the individual needs of your clients. You can correctly interpret the client's information for correct processing in the VAT return.
  • You will deal with complex international transactions and your clients do business in both the Netherlands and the EU and beyond.
  • You can prepare and review complex VAT returns, and you know when you need more information. You advise the client on their administration and the correct way of invoicing. By listening carefully and asking the right questions, you ensure that you add value to the success of your clients.
  • You will join a team of five or six employees, where you will work closely with your manager.

What is required

  • A completed higher professional education in an economic direction
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience
  • Knowledge of local VAT advice and filing foreign returns
  • Knowledge of Dutch VAT laws
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written
  • You are customer-oriented and dedicated
