Job Description:

Acolad is a global leader in language and content solutions, services, and technologies. We are represented by the brands Acolad, TextMaster, and Ubiqus, with a presence in 25 countries and a network of over 2,500 internal experts worldwide and +20,000 external linguists.

We are looking for a skilled Translation Project Manager to join our global team in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. As a key member of our Production Team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of translation orders according to customer requirements and Acolad standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage translation quotes and orders according to customer requirements and group standards.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, account managers, and translators/linguists.
  • Improve processes and optimize linguistic quality.
  • Organize and monitor overall workflow processes and timelines, including service delivery.
  • Monitor Service Delivery-related KPIs, such as adherence to deadlines, vendor costs, in-house costs, productivity, volume per service, and per language combination.

Requirements:

  • Study in the fields of translation, linguistics, language technology, languages, international business, or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Dutch is a plus. Mastery of other languages is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of commonly used CAT tools, such as Phrase, memoQ, and SDL Trados.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to clients over the phone, via video-call meetings, and in-person meetings.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet tight deadlines and organize workload in complex project situations.
  • Autonomy, strong team spirit, and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and workload.
