Housekeeping Management Trainee

Hyatt Regency Amsterdam is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Housekeeping team as a Management Trainee. As a Management Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, including room preparation, public area maintenance, and laundry management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, including room preparation, public area maintenance, and laundry management.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of all areas of Housekeeping operations, including rooms, public areas, laundry, housemen, minibar, deep cleaning projects, uniforms, stock control, and purchasing.
  • Work closely with other departments to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Participate in team-building activities and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Hospitality or Tourism-related degree.
  • Available for at least five months.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (and Dutch).
  • Detail-oriented, approachable, and able to make decisions.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and enthusiastic.
  • Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or enrolled in a Dutch institution.
