About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical-thinking professional to join our team as a Sanctions Screening Specialist. As a key member of our KYC & Financial Crime department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective screening of customers and transactions to prevent violations of sanction regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise on transaction filtering and knowledge of business processes to define changes and support implementation.
  • Identify new sanction measures and business rules, based on various input sources, including new sanction regulations, analysis, and market best practices.
  • Work closely with other team members and stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance our Sanction Screening.
  • Offer correct advice on the application of internal policies and external regulations for the area of CWS/TSS.
  • Prepare, enhance, and deliver reporting for specific topics within the CWS/TSS area, including thematic research and contribute to proposals for the use of advanced analytics & AI in the area of Sanction Screening.
  • Coordinate CWS/TSS reporting, including the analysis of the performance and risk coverage of the business rules and reporting of any relevant Operational Risk events.
Requirements
  • Proven experience with, and knowledge of, an Agile way of working within multi-disciplinary teams together with IT.
  • Practice in working as a business partner with a strong judgment and an excellent problem-solving orientation in an international setting.
  • Proficient command of English and Spanish (Dutch or German language skills are a plus).
  • Experience in closely working together with international operational teams.
