Role Overview

The KYC & Financial Crime department is advancing towards streamlined and effective processes, establishing clear points of accountability. We are looking for an analytical professional to take on the role of Customer Activity Monitoring (Transaction Monitoring) Specialist. This position may also involve responsibilities related to Product Ownership within the team.

Your Contributions

In this role, you will play a crucial part in our mission to finance change by ensuring robust customer activity monitoring to combat money laundering (AML) and terrorism financing (CTF). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expertise in post-event transaction monitoring and leveraging your knowledge of business processes to recommend changes and support implementation alongside other CAM Specialists, focusing on model enhancement and technological advancements.
  • Identifying new AML/CTF measures and refining existing rules based on diverse data sources, including insights from integrity risk analyses and findings from investigations.
  • Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to develop and enforce policies and procedures that enhance our Customer Activity Monitoring efforts.
  • Advising on the application of internal and external policies in the AML/CTF domain.
  • Preparing and delivering comprehensive reports on specific AML/CTF topics, contributing to thematic research and proposing the integration of advanced analytics and AI in Customer Activity Monitoring.
  • Coordinating CAM reporting, focusing on the performance and risk coverage of business rules and documenting relevant operational risk events.
  • Working closely with international operational teams to ensure cohesive monitoring practices.

  • A proven track record as a business partner with strong judgment and problem-solving skills in an international context.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch, with additional language skills in Spanish or German being advantageous.
  • Experience collaborating with international operational teams.

You will be part of a dynamic Monitoring & Screening team within the KYC & FC Centre of Expertise, working closely with CAM Specialists and other KYC & FC Analysts. You will report directly to the Team Lead Monitoring & Screening and engage in diverse projects alongside operations, ICT, and Compliance teams.
