About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical-thinking professional to join our KYC & Financial Crime department as a Customer Activity Monitoring (CAM) Analyst. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting our organisation and customers from money laundering, terrorism financing, and other criminal activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide analysis on Customer Activity Monitoring (post-transaction monitoring) and knowledge of business processes to define changes and support implementation.
  • Identify new AML/CTF measures and business rules or improvements for existing measures and rules.
  • Work closely with other team members to develop, maintain, and improve our CAM model lifecycle and work on behavioural models and static rules.
  • Contribute to the back-testing of our behavioural models and static rules.
  • Prepare, enhance, and deliver reporting for CAM-related topics within the AML/CTF area, including thematic research and contribute to proposals for the use of advanced analytics & AI in the area of Customer Activity Monitoring.
  • Support CAM reporting, including the performance of the business rules and reporting of any relevant Operational Risk events.
Requirements
  • You will need to zoom out and identify what is needed for a whole perspective.
  • When faced with ambiguity or uncertainty, you will identify critical information and formulate a timely response.
  • You will act with integrity and honesty, daring to speak up and have difficult conversations when needed.
  • You will set up partnerships and networks, build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders with different backgrounds.
Desirable Skills
  • An extensive relevant working experience as a CAM analyst or in a closely related role.
  • A broad knowledge and expertise within the AML/CTF field in the financial sector, specifically with analysing and improving CAM rulesets and models, including model lifecycle management and the application of advanced techniques.
  • A proven experience with, and knowledge of, an Agile way of working in an IT environment.
  • Practice in working as a business partner with a strong judgment and an excellent analytical skills.
  • Proficient command of English and Dutch (Spanish or German language skills are a plus).
