Onze organisatie:

Bij Hogeschool Rotterdam zijn we op zoek naar een docent met expertise op het gebied van Data Science & AI. Als docent breng je je kennis in en coach je studenten op de technische competenties en de vertaalslag naar de beroepspraktijk.

Wat ga je doen?

Je geeft mini-colleges of workshops die toepassingsgericht zijn en een relatie hebben met een praktijkopdracht. Denk hierbij aan het voorspellen van scheepsbewegingen met behulp van data, toepassingen in de zorg richting het bepalen van diagnoses en het in kaart brengen van het energiegebruik binnen Rotterdam ten behoeve van beleidsbeslissingen.

Wat we jou bieden:

  • Contract voor een jaar met zicht op vast dienstverband (D4).
  • Samen leren en werken met de nieuwe generatie AI & Data Science engineers.
  • Mee ontwikkelen aan het datalab van ons instituut.
  • Afhankelijk van je opleiding en ervaring word je ingeschaald tussen minimaal € 4.122,52 en maximaal € 6.114,87 (schaal 11) bruto per maand bij een volledig dienstverband, exclusief 8% vakantiegeld en 8,3% eindejaarsuitkering.
  • Een aantrekkelijke pensioenregeling via ABP.
  • Een goede werk/privé balans (45+ vrije dagen per jaar bij een fulltime dienstverband, mogelijkheid tot betaald ouderschapverlof 75%, flexibele werktijden).

Ben jij wie we zoeken?

  • Je bent in het bezit van een master Data Science & AI, dan wel technische wetenschappen, zoals Informatica, Wiskunde, Natuurkunde of econometrie;
  • Je hebt enige jaren werkervaring als data engineer, data scientist of AI/ Machine Learning engineer;
  • Je beheerst Python (R is een pré);
  • Je bent bekend met producten zoals Apache Airflow, Docker, Git / GitLab of bent bereid je dit eigen te maken;
  • Je bent op de hoogte en wilt dit blijven van belangrijke technologische- en domeinontwikkelingen in het werkveld van Data Science en AI;
  • Je hebt affiniteit/ervaring met lesgeven en wil je hier verder in ontwikkelen;
  • Je beschikt over goede communicatieve eigenschappen in woord en geschrift (zowel Nederlands als Engels);
  • Je werkt graag in (multidisciplinair) teamverband met collega's in zowel technische als niet-technische disciplines.
