Job DescriptionJob Title: Finance and Risk Management Expert
Job Summary:
NIBC Bank is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Finance and Risk Management Expert to join our Market Risk Management team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating market-related risks, developing and maintaining risk models, and creating risk reports and analysis to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Active involvement in portfolio analysis, including daily, weekly, and monthly market risk metrics and trends
- Development and maintenance of market risk models used for valuation and risk calculations
- Creation of risk reports, visualizations, and analysis to support real-time decision-making
- Performing various analysis and reports for risk committees and senior management, as well as external disclosures
- Participation in bank-wide projects, including implementation and monitoring of new regulations and IT systems
- Gaining insight into regulatory developments and working on specific regulatory requests for information and analyses
- Recognizing potential areas for process improvements and efficiency gains and implementing streamlined solutions
Requirements:
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills
- Good grasp of English as the main language for communication within NIBC
- Eagerness to learn and investigate processes within Market Risk Management and the bank
- Academic or HBO education, with some work experience preferred
- Able to think logically and analyze data, as well as work with software packages
- Preferably working experience in interest rate risk/liquidity risk
- A team player with the ability to work independently on certain tasks
