At Corbion, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager GL Accounting & Financial Reporting EMEA to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting processes for Corbion EMEA, ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, educate, and motivate the GL accounting teams across EMEA.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for all EMEA entities in accordance with Corbion accounting policies and local GAAP.
- Standardize financial reporting and accounting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and handling ledger accounting topics such as accruals, intercompany positions, and asset accounting.
- Lead and optimize financial accounting processes, serving as a key user of SAP S4/HANA and driving process improvements within SAP and GL processes.
- Ensure adherence to financial audits, control frameworks, tax audits, and Corbion's Transfer Pricing Policy.
- Contribute to group-wide accounting projects.
- Align and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (business controllers, operations, Manager AP) and external stakeholders (auditors).
- Postgraduate degree in Accounting and/or Auditing.
- 5-7 years of financial accounting experience.
- Familiarity with regulations related to Transfer Pricing.
- Strong understanding of design, execution, and verification of administrative processes.
- Experience with production accounting.
- Strong analytical skills and affinity with IT (ERP systems) and auditing.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
