As an Offshore Wind Service Engineer with Oceanwide, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbines. Your workday will begin in IJmuiden, The Netherlands, where you will board a ship to travel to the wind farm. During your 12-hour workday, you will perform daily maintenance tasks, carry out repairs, and stay overnight on the SOV. You will work in a 2/2 rotation, ensuring that you have a balance of work and rest time.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a detailed knowledge of our wind turbines and their systems.
- Perform daily maintenance tasks, including inspections and repairs.
- Carry out maintenance on hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Prepare follow-up orders and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Work with high voltage systems and adhere to the highest safety and environmental standards.
- Be part of a team of technicians working throughout the region.
- Conduct periodic inspections, replace components, and troubleshoot system issues.
- Completed MBO education in electrical engineering or mechanics, with several years of work experience.
- Valid GWO's certification is a plus.
- Experience in electricity or mechanics, and a willingness to further develop your skills in these areas.
- Hydraulic experience is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
- No fear of heights or seasickness.
- Excellent knowledge of English, Dutch is a plus.
- Driver's license B.
- Direct contract with the employer.
- Competitive base salary, ranging from €3000.00 - €4000.00 per month, depending on experience and education.
