Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel - Private Banking

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our Private Banking team. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to our Private Banking business, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service and that our business operations are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and support to our Private Banking business, including drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure that our business operations are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, including anti-money laundering and know-your-customer regulations.
  • Collaborate with our internal stakeholders, including our risk management and compliance teams, to ensure that our business operations are aligned with our risk management and compliance policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact our business operations and provide recommendations to our management team on how to address these changes.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a qualified lawyer, preferably in a private banking or financial services environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Dutch banking laws and regulations, including laws relating to deposit taking, investment services, and consumer lending.
  • Excellent technical drafting skills and ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
