As a Senior Mechatronics Project Manager at VDL ETG Technology & Development Almelo, you will be responsible for managing highly innovative and complex projects in a high-end precision environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of innovative mechatronic systems from development to manufacturing and customer acceptance.
  • Leading a multidisciplinary team of technical experts in close cooperation with a System Architect.
  • Monitoring and controlling project progress, including supply chain and manufacturing activities.
  • Managing stakeholders, external customers, and internal stakeholders at various managerial levels.
  • Applying project management and development processes of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanics, Electronics, Physics, or related field.
  • Professional project management skills, preferably certified (PMI, PRINCE2, IPMA).
  • At least 5-10 years of experience as a project leader for high-end equipment, leading multidisciplinary development teams.
  • Knowledge of Design for Excellence and successful track record in equipment development projects.
  • Good communication skills in English and Dutch.
