Customer Service Manager

As a Customer Service Manager at Impala Terminals, you will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the service delivery process, ensuring efficient order processing and a proactive commercial and service proposition approach.

Key responsibilities include: ensuring good working practices and housekeeping, compliance to environmental issues, overseeing and managing customer service budget, and ensuring efficiencies in the customer service & customs team.

You will contribute to the development and approval of the overall strategy, formulate yearly planning and budgeting for the Customer Service department, and monitor actual performance against budget.

In addition, you will handle all day-to-day customs declarations and activities, ensure day-to-day compliance to the Customs permit requirements, and liaise with the customer and customs authorities on running customs declarations.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and stakeholder management. You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications and have experience with business software linked to the larger enterprise management system.
