Job Summary

Rambus is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Logic Designer to join our team. As a key member of our R&D group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex secure silicon IP's.

Responsibilities

  • Lead digital designers and manage projects to estimate cost and effort.
  • Design block specifications, documentation, and encourage innovative ideas and patents for current and future products.
  • Implement RTL design, lint, clock domain crossing analysis, synthesis, and IP release.
  • Work with the verification team on planning and execution, simulation, debugging simulations, formal verification, and preparation of technical reviews and product documentation.
  • Contribute to flow and methodology development and interact with technical leaders to ensure successful development of high-value products.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree in Hardware Engineering, Computing Science, or comparable level.
  • Eight or more years of experience in the security or chip industry in relevant engineering positions at R&D centers or system laboratories.
  • In-depth knowledge of SoC, Silicon IP, and/or FPGA logic design flows.
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog) and scripting languages.
  • In-depth knowledge of cryptography, security protocols, and security implementations.
  • Good knowledge of verification flows (assertion-based design strategies, code coverage, functional coverage, test plans, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex concepts to a technical audience.
  • Good documentation skills, both in text and drawings.

  • Familiarity with IP integration, IP core delivery, and handoff issues.
  • Ability to work with technical writers in the production of technical documentation.
