Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Hardware Engineering Lead to join our team at Rambus. This is an exceptional opportunity for experienced engineers who want to take their skills to the next level and contribute to the development of cutting-edge semiconductor products.

About the Role

This senior leadership position will oversee multiple projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and meet project goals. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in hardware engineering, particularly in SoC, Silicon IP, and FPGA logic design flows. They will also have expertise in hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog) and scripting languages.

Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple projects from planning to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards.
  • Collaborate with digital designers, verification teams, and other stakeholders to develop and implement secure silicon IP solutions.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including block specifications, design documents, and technical reviews.
  • Work with technical leaders to guide Rambus' technical direction, contributing to flow and methodology development.
  • Interact with senior staff in engineering, product management, sales, and FAEs to ensure successful product development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hardware Engineering, Computing Science, or comparable field.
  • 8+ years of experience in the security or chip industry, with relevant engineering positions at R&D centers or system laboratories.
  • In-depth knowledge of SoC, Silicon IP, and/or FPGA logic design flows.
  • Strong expertise in hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog) and scripting languages.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to explain complex concepts to technical audiences.
  • Good documentation skills, both in text and drawings.
Estimated Salary: $170,000 - $220,000 per yearBenefits
