About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Hardware Support Engineer to join our team at Rambus. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering technical support to our customers worldwide, working closely with our R&D team to distribute customer feedback and highlight improvement topics.



Responsibilities



  • Execute IP package assembly and checks to ensure seamless integration with our products;
  • Create and release IP maintenance updates to enhance performance and security;
  • Perform IP Release inspection of all product deliverables before customer shipment to maintain quality standards;
  • Deliver efficient and effective technical support to our customers through swift and accurate responses, independent case research, and collaboration with embedded hardware domain experts;
  • Manage and track individual cases, monitor progress, inform customers, and provide timely solutions;
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to distill customer feedback and identify areas for improvement;


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hardware Engineering, Computing Science, or a related field;
  • At least 5 years' experience in the security or chip industry in engineering or technical support positions at R&D centers or system laboratories;
  • Proficiency in hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog), scripting languages, and SoC, Silicon IP, and/or FPGA design/verification flows;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues;
  • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written (English);
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and domains;
  • Capacity to work effectively in an international environment;
  • Self-motivation, hands-on approach, and strong teamwork skills;
  • Prior knowledge of embedded hardware, cryptography, security protocols, and security implementations is advantageous.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
