About the Role

Rambus is seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Hardware Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to our customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Execute IP package assembly and checks to ensure seamless integration with our products.
  • Create and release IP maintenance updates to address customer needs.
  • Perform IP Release inspection of all product deliverables before customer shipment to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Provide efficient and effective technical support to our customers, responding promptly and accurately to their queries.
  • Manage and track individual cases, monitoring progress and informing customers accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with our R&D team to distribute customer feedback and highlight areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hardware Engineering, Computing Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the security or chip industry in engineering or technical support positions at R&D centers or system laboratories.
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog), scripting languages, and SoC, Silicon IP, and/or FPGA design/verification flows.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong command of English and preferably Dutch.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and domains.
  • Ability to work closely with geographically dispersed customer teams.
  • Strong team working skills in an international environment.
  • Self-motivation and a hands-on approach to all activities.
  • Practical knowledge of embedded hardware.
  • Advantage: Practical knowledge of cryptography, security protocols, and security implementations.
  • Advantage: Practical knowledge of embedded software.
