About the Role

Rambus is a leading provider of high-performance memory interface chips and Silicon IP. We are seeking a skilled Senior Embedded Hardware Support Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute IP package assembly and checks to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Create and release IP maintenance updates to keep our solutions up-to-date.
  • Perform IP Release inspection of all product deliverables before customer shipment to guarantee quality.
  • Deliver efficient and effective technical support to our customers worldwide, responding promptly and accurately to their needs.
  • Manage and track individual cases, monitoring progress and informing customers accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with our R&D team to distribute customer feedback and highlight areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hardware Engineering, Computing Science, or a comparable field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the security or chip industry in engineering or technical support roles at R&D centers or system laboratories.
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL, SystemVerilog), scripting languages, and SoC, Silicon IP, and/or FPGA design/verification flows.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong preference for English and Dutch.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, including Silicon IP, management, business, and sales.
  • Strong team working skills in an international environment.
  • Self-motivation and a hands-on approach to all activities.
  • Practical knowledge of embedded hardware, with a strong advantage for experience in cryptography, security protocols, and security implementations, as well as embedded software.
