What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Research Technician for Spinoff on Robotic Manufacturing of Optical Circuits. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, building, and benchmarking optical circuits and their control electronics.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and improve optical circuits and their control electronics
- Improve the stability of our circuits
- Enhance our robotic manufacturing technology
- Expand the range of optical circuits we can build
- Create a second generation of the AQuRA optical circuits
What You'll Need
- A master's degree and several years of relevant professional experience or a PhD in experimental physics or engineering
- Strong experience in optical systems, automation, and mechatronics
- A passion for solving real-world industrial problems and developing cost-effective solutions
- Motivation to work in a challenging and rewarding cutting-edge research field
- The ambition and drive to join a startup
- Good command of English
What We Offer
- A temporary employment contract for 38 hours per week for a period of one year, extendable up to 4 years
- A gross monthly salary ranging from €3,000 to €5,000, dependent on relevant experience
- A favourable tax agreement, the '30% ruling', may apply to non-Dutch applicants
- A range of fringe benefits, including holiday hours, courses, and a pension
