Senior Logistics Coordinator Opportunity at Maersk

Maersk, a global leader in integrated logistics, is seeking a Senior Logistics Coordinator to join their team. As a key player in the company's ocean freight operations, this role will be responsible for ensuring seamless end-to-end shipment processes for customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain proactive communication and information flow towards customers to ensure transparency throughout the shipment process.
  • Monitor outgoing and incoming ocean transport orders for assigned customers, responding to customer inquiries via email, phone, or chat.
  • Be the primary point of contact for customers, representing the company as the face or voice of the organization.
  • Go above and beyond to satisfy customers' needs and build strong relationships.
  • Prepare transport and customs documents.
  • Finding innovative solutions to improve supply chain efficiency for customers.
  • Manage financial aspects of shipments.

Requirements

  • You must be enthusiastic and a team player.
  • Solution-oriented, willing to go out of your way to please customers.
  • Experience in a service-oriented environment.
  • Able to multitask and quickly learn new concepts.

Your Profile

  • You should have experience within the shipping and logistics industry, especially in the Ocean business, and be familiar with Incoterms.
  • Open to change and drive customer improvement initiatives.
  • Interest in digitalization and shaping the future of customer service.
  • Ability to think outside the box to find creative solutions.
  • Motivated to contribute to enhancing customer service levels.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • An empathetic person with excellent communication skills who can relate well to diverse individuals.
  • Commercially driven and enterprising.
  • Available full-time.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
