About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Senior Software QA Automation Engineer to join our team at eVision Industry Software B.V. This is a permanent contract with a competitive salary of €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits.



Job Description


The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing tests on new and existing software products to ensure they meet functional, technical, and regulatory requirements. This includes designing and implementing test automation frameworks, developing and reviewing test plans and scripts, identifying and sharing best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability, and setting up infrastructure to run tests.



Responsibilities



  • Design and implement automated test frameworks using open-source tools
  • Develop, review, and execute test plans and scripts for new and existing software products
  • Identify and share best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability
  • Set up infrastructure to run tests, including CI/CD tooling and performance testing
  • Collaborate with product and development teams to contribute to planning and design, reviewing product code, and formulating test scenarios
  • Work closely with engineers to establish and execute strategies for integrating testing at earlier stages of the software development cycle
  • Interface with other members of Product and R&D departments to effectively communicate and resolve issues


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant software testing work experience
  • Experience with QA processes, open-source test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests
  • Experience with JavaScript or other coding languages
  • Understanding of cloud architecture concepts and CI/CD tooling
  • Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, security testing, and testing tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates initiative and drive; self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented; creative and analytical
