Senior Commercial Controller

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Commercial Controller to join our team at OMRON. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Finance Director to develop and review financial plans, forecasts, and budgets for commercial activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, identifying commercial risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Manage sales and margin reporting, analyzing actual results and identifying trends to inform senior management.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing financial insights and recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Develop and maintain informative financial reports and dashboards for senior management and the commercial team.
  • Identify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure commercial operations' effectiveness.
  • Lead projects to enhance cost control, margin improvement, and process efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in economics, business finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive working experience (7-10 years) in an international commercial environment.
  • Several years of experience in financial analysis, controlling, or related roles, preferably in a commercial or business-focused environment.
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Knowledge of relevant ERP systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
