Senior Financial Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Strategist to join our team at OMRON. As a key member of our commercial operations team, you will be responsible for creating and reviewing financial plans, forecasts, and budgets for commercial activities. Your expertise in financial analysis and strategy will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Finance Director to develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Provide valuable insights for operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations, identify commercial risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Manage sales and margin reporting, analysing actual results and identifying trends.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, offering financial insights and recommendations.
  • Develop informative financial reports and dashboards for senior management and the commercial team.
  • Identify and monitor KPIs to measure commercial operations' effectiveness.
  • Lead projects to enhance cost control, margin improvement, and process efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in economics, business finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive working experience (7-10 years) in an international commercial environment.
  • Several years of experience in financial analysis, controlling, or related roles, preferably in a commercial or business-focused environment.
  • Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Knowledge of relevant ERP systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both written and verbal (English) to effectively convey financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • People management skills: inspiring, guiding, and empowering individuals and teams to achieve their full potential and foster a positive work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence.
