Design and Communication Specialist

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Design Intern to join our Marketing department at TomTom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, presenting, and producing digital and print communication collateral for our brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop visual content for various marketing channels, including social media, email, and print materials.
  • Collaborate with our in-house design and creative team to create consistent and engaging designs that align with our brand identity.
  • Research and stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and best practices.
  • Prepare artwork for print or online publishing, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.
  • Participate in design review sessions and provide feedback to ensure the best possible outcome.
  • Develop new ideas and concepts to enhance our brand's visual identity.
Requirements:
  • You are currently enrolled in a Dutch university and available to work full-time from September 1st.
  • You must submit an online or digital portfolio to be considered for this role.
  • You have some knowledge of and an interest in learning more about both print and digital design, with experience in video and motion graphics a plus.
  • You are pursuing a full-time Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • You have a team player attitude with the ability to work independently, collaborate with other departments, and manage multiple projects.
  • You are fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
  • You are expressive and creative, able to adapt content to different target groups and touchpoints.
  • You are flexible and able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
