Senior HR Business Partner for Benelux Operations

Job Description

As a key member of the NBCUniversal Benelux team, the HR Manager will play a vital role in driving the local HR agenda and supporting the business forward. The successful candidate will be a true business partner, working closely with local leaders, international HR leaders, and centralized specialist functions to identify, plan, and deliver critical initiatives that align with regional, international, and global strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Programs and Business Partnering
    • Act as a sounding board and change agent to drive and implement desired behavioral and organizational changes
    • Advise on overhead impact during the annual budget cycle
    • Responsible for HR projects, programs, and initiatives across all businesses in the Benelux region
    • Provide in-country expertise, with the ability to act strategically and operationally across all HR functions
  • Talent Management and Acquisition
    • Lead local talent management programs, including the talent review and performance feedback process
    • Work with the international talent acquisition team and/or external agencies for sourcing the best talent for open roles
    • Be an ambassador for the NBCUniversal brand and proactively create brand awareness guided by the employee value proposition
    • Maintain organizational structures by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
  • Compensation and Benefits
    • Maintain employee benefits programs and inform employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends
    • Implement C&B initiatives and lead the implementation of the annual salary review process
  • Learning and Development
    • Analyze training needs against local business strategy and employee skill gaps
    • Actively support talent development and employee engagement projects
    • Work with local business leaders on promoting and nominating employees for internal talent training programs
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
    • Drive the local DEI agenda together with the local DEI team
    • Organize different local DEI activities and trainings throughout the year
    • Create a diverse, equal, and inclusive culture in the local office and align this with international and global DEI strategies
  • Employee Relations and Policies
    • Support a culture of trust, promoting open and honest communication
    • Be a trusted partner for managers and employees in addressing and handling difficult conversations
    • Be proactive and anticipate change, providing critical and timely input about consequences and implications of local law
    • Support and train managers to coach their team and take disciplinary actions if needed
  • Labour Conditions
    • Advise, design, and implement local labour condition needs, whilst adhering to legislation
  • HR Transactional Activities
    • Oversee the flawless execution of payroll and HR administration activities
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a business partnering capacity within a dynamic international environment
  • Experience in all operational HR aspects of the employee life-cycle
  • Business-savvy and credible sparring partner
  • Ability to navigate through a complex, matrix business and provide the appropriate partnership, support, and coaching to local stakeholders
  • Demonstrable ability to understand and promote the linkage between business and operational priorities and HR activities
