We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Engineering Innovation Team as an intern. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that involve designing and developing systems for remote control of robot arms using teleoperation techniques.

About the Role

  • Design and develop a system to remotely control a robot arm using teleoperation techniques.
  • Work with different hardware and software components, including robot arms, controllers, and communication protocols.
  • Apply knowledge of mechanics, control systems, and programming to develop a practical system with real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement safety features to prevent accidents during operation.
  • Develop an intuitive and user-friendly user interface for teleoperation.
  • Ensure the system is adaptable to different types of robot arms with varying degrees of freedom.

Requirements

  • Enrolled at a (Dutch) university for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Good command of English and Dutch.
  • Affinity with robotics, control systems, programming, communication protocols, user interface design, and computer vision.
