About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Project Engineer at Heerema Marine Contractors. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for organizing and planning the work and involvement of others effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery;
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks;
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards;
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and team members;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Higher professional education in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent;
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in engineering, project preparation, and execution of offshore projects;
  • Detailed understanding of Heerema Marine Contractors' assets and equipment capabilities;
  • Excellent analytical, practical, and pragmatic skills;
  • Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
  • Supervisory and coaching skills to provide guidance to other engineers;
  • Ambition to work temporarily at yards, offshore on our vessels, or in our other offices.
