The Role of Principal Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer who is passionate about solving complex problems and shaping the future of digital education. As an individual contributor, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand challenges in the seamless customer journey and propose solutions. You will also collaborate with development teams to deliver results.

Our Stack

We utilize a robust technology stack, including Python, Ruby on Rails, VueJS, ReactJS, Unity, MySQL, Redis, Elastic Search, AI/ML models for automation and personalization, and fully automated pipelines for continuous integration and delivery. Our microservices run on Google Cloud and AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shape the technical vision of the organization and drive innovation by researching and evaluating emerging technologies.
  • Develop technical solutions that span multiple platforms, taking into account stakeholder expectations.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and participate in design reviews.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Empower teams with best practices for infrastructure and security, enabling the creation of highly scalable and secure systems.
  • Own the security and infrastructure roadmap across the company.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of solid web application development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, and data modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills.
