Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated R&D Analyst to join our team and contribute to the development of our groundbreaking rapid antibiotic susceptibility testing device, KAIROS IVD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and development activities, including testing various assays with a variety of samples.
  • Design and plan experiments, developing experimental protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.
  • Collect and record experimental data, observations, and results in a systematic and organized manner.
  • Analyze experimental data using statistical methods and software tools to extract meaningful insights and draw conclusions.
  • Troubleshoot experimental issues and technical challenges, developing solutions and implementing corrective actions to ensure smooth progress of research activities.
  • Document experimental procedures, results, and findings in laboratory notebooks, reports, and technical documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists, engineers, and clinicians, to facilitate communication and coordination of research efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or HBO degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biomedical engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with working in a BSL2 environment with bacteria is a must.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Passionate about working in a young company.
  • Well-organized with an analytical mindset.
  • Openness to learn about regulatory processes and how to work accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in data handling, including data analysis, storage, and statistical analysis, is preferred.
  • A passion for innovation and a creative, out-of-the-box mindset are highly valued.
